LVL Music has been appointed the exclusive Singapore distributor for Warchal Strings, establishing a dedicated local distribution channel for the Slovak string maker in Singapore.
LVL Music Academy, the education arm of LVL Music, will support the distributorship through its instrument shop and in-house luthier workshop, providing musicians with local access to Warchal strings together with professional guidance, string installation and instrument setup support.
The appointment strengthens LVL Music’s growing specialist offering for violin, viola and cello players and brings Warchal’s distinctive range of strings closer to musicians, teachers and string professionals in Singapore.

Warchal develops strings for violin, viola and cello, with different ranges designed around distinct tonal characteristics and playing requirements.
For violinists, the range includes Amber, Timbre, Brilliant, Brilliant Vintage, Karneol, Ametyst and The Beast, alongside individual options including the Russian A and Avantgarde A strings.
Rather than approaching every instrument with the same string choice, the different Warchal ranges allow players to explore combinations of warmth, complexity, responsiveness, clarity and projection according to the characteristics of their instrument and their own playing requirements.
Through the new distributorship, musicians in Singapore can purchase Warchal strings through LVL Music Academy and receive guidance from LVL’s string instrument team when choosing between the different ranges.
String replacement and professional installation are also available through the LVL luthier workshop.
About Warchal
Founded in 2003 by professional violinist Bohdan Warchal Jr., Warchal is a Slovak string maker with its roots closely connected to professional string playing.
Bohdan Warchal Jr. followed in the musical tradition of his father, Bohdan Warchal, the internationally recognised violinist who founded the Slovak Chamber Orchestra in 1960. Warchal Jr.’s own search for sound and interest in musical instruments eventually led to the establishment of WARCHAL and the development of its dedicated string research programme.
Today, Warchal produces violin, viola and cello strings covering a broad range of tonal concepts.
