1. Get Recommendations from Your Friends and Family

In addition to friends and family, you can also ask for recommendations from your co-workers, classmates, and other people that you know. If you are introduced by someone with a healthy social circle, this referral could be far more effective than if it came from a less-connected person. Most of our students are happy with their experience at LVL Music Academy, and hence they recommend LVL to their family and friends.

2. Look for Schools with Reputation for Excellence

Choosing the right violin and cello school can be a tough decision, but there are many factors to consider. Some of the things you may want to think about are:

Location – One of the great advantages of our school is its located in the heart of the city, easy accessible by train, car or taxi. That is one of the main factors when parents sign their kids up for weekly lessons.

Teacher quality – When a teacher is properly trained for violin or cello lessons, the student will then have a better learning experience. The outcome usually depends on the teacher’s experience and knowledge about these instruments. Without proper training, teachers will not know how to work with children and understand their musical needs and preferences.

The music teachers need to have a certain level of understanding for these instruments in order for them to be successful when teaching children who are just beginning to play an instrument like violin or cello. Teachers need to know how to teach them how they should hold their instrument, what technique they should use while playing it and many other things that determine their success rate in music learning journey. At LVL Music Academy we build a strong team to be able to teach all different levels of skills to students of any age level.

3. Make Sure the Teaching Style Fits Your Needs

It is important to find a teaching style that fits your needs.

At LVL Music Academy, we believe that every student have different learning abilities. Every student is given an opportunity to learn at his/her own pace and learn according to his/her own learning style. We will customise the violin or cello lessons for each individual student.

Our teachers are always there to help students with anything they need. They create a personal relationship with each student and get to know them personally.

4. Attend a Trial Violin or Cello Class.

Trial classes give you an opportunity to try out the violin or cello classes without having to commit to long term lessons. This will give you an opportunity to get a feel for whether or not you are interested in taking the class. The class should also give you an idea on how much it would cost, what type of expectations there may be, and other pertinent information. Once the class is over, then you can decide if you want to sign up for the term.

During the trial class, a violin or cello instrument will be provided to the student. This is to see how the student interacts with their instrument for a complete overall experience on how classes will be conducted. It is also to determine what size of instrument should be used for future lessons.

After completing the trial class, you will then be able to decide if you want to rent/purchase a violin or cello at LVL Music Academy. We have a special rent to own scheme available at LVL shop.

At LVL Music Academy, we will ensure that you are completely ready to start your violin or cello journey. Our motto is “music for all” which means that we can provide a path to learning music for people of all ages and walks of life.
