Cervo di Fiemme Stradivari Model Violin
The Paris Andrew “Cervo di Fiemme” Stradivari Model Violin is an individually crafted contemporary violin distinguished by its deer-inspired soundholes, rare one-piece Val di Fiemme spruce front and extensive use of European maple.
Built around a classical Stradivari model, the instrument combines traditional violin-making proportions with a highly individual visual identity.
A Stradivari Model with a Distinctive Identity
Paris Andrew uses the familiar Stradivari form as the foundation for a more contemporary interpretation.
Instead of conventional f-holes, the violin features custom deer-inspired soundholes whose flowing, antler-like form gives the instrument an unmistakable appearance.
The warm golden amber-orange finish further highlights the figure of the maple across the back, ribs and neck.

Distinctive Details of the Cervo di Fiemme
Rare One-Piece Val di Fiemme Spruce
One-Piece Spruce Front
The front is carved from a single piece of spruce sourced from Val di Fiemme in northern Italy, rather than a conventional two-piece joined spruce top.
European Maple
European maple is used for the back, ribs and neck, giving the instrument a visually coherent material character.
Maple Fingerboard
The fingerboard is also made from European maple, creating a markedly different appearance from the traditional dark ebony fingerboard.
Deer-Inspired Soundholes
The custom soundholes are one of the defining features of this violin.
Their flowing, antler-like design replaces the conventional f-hole while remaining integrated into the overall Stradivari-inspired outline.
Beyond a Conventional Stradivari Copy
The Cervo di Fiemme does not attempt to visually reproduce an antique violin.
Instead, the classical Stradivari model provides the foundation for a contemporary instrument defined by unusual soundholes, distinctive maple components and an individual visual identity.
Paris Andrew
Contemporary Violin Maker
Paris Andrew is a contemporary violin maker whose work combines traditional violin-making methods with a willingness to explore less conventional forms and visual ideas.
The Cervo di Fiemme reflects that approach particularly clearly: a recognisable classical violin model paired with highly individual soundholes and unusual material choices.
Traditional Craftsmanship, Individual Design
Paris Andrew has worked and studied in both the United Kingdom and Italy, with violin making forming the centre of her practice.
Her instruments include both traditional forms and more experimental interpretations of the violin.
