Dark is particularly effective on violins that sound overly bright, thin or sharp, helping to create a warmer and fuller overall character. Viola and cello players may also appreciate the additional stability and body it can bring to the middle and lower registers.

As the softest formulation in the Cerrado range, Dark offers stronger bow engagement while maintaining low tackiness and low dust production.

Cerrado Rosin is handcrafted in Brazil using natural ingredients inspired by the Brazilian Cerrado, including jatobá resin and wax from native stingless bees.
