The Story Behind Larsen & Spirocore

Founded in Denmark in 1990, Larsen Strings began when Laurits Th. Larsen started developing strings in his family garage. The brand became especially recognised among cellists for its warm, focused and responsive upper strings.

Spirocore is made by Thomastik-Infeld, the Vienna string manufacturer founded in 1919. Introduced in 1958, its spiral-core construction became known for stability, durability and strong lower-register definition.
