During my visit, I was attended by Gavin which is a very friendly guy and are knowledgeable on the instruments. Luthier Mr. Alan was really incredibly patient, attentive, and kind. He explained everything clearly The repair was done beautifully; my violin looks and sounds amazing again after years of neglect. Since preparing for my Grade 7 Violin performance and Music Theory examinations from 2023 to 2024, I have been working together with passionate and dedicated teachers to aid on my violin techniques, as well as the historical and cultural elements of music. This has allowed me to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to achieve a Merit for both examinations. Additionally, the annual group orchestral performances organised by the school allowed me to have the opportunity to meet with likeminded individuals, as well as to improve my teamwork and leadership skills. These opportunities also enabled me to perform a solo performance which drastically improved my performance and expression on stage.
